Big challenge yesterday: 8x500m (3min rest) in race pace+.
Mental challenge#1: During my heart problems this session was the worst. I have had a couple scary sessions, one which nearly ended me.
Mental challenge #2: I would do this without a heart rate moniter. Wanted to focus on
speed not heart rate.
Mental challenge #3: I would do this on the erg, alone. I wanted to feel I could push trough this by myself.
Conclusion: Pulled trough even though it hurt like hell. Felt sick for a few hours afterwards. Couldn´t be happier, though.
After winning the National Championship Sprints 2010, despite passing out during 500m intervalls, due to the heart problems, a week prior. Happy but also very relieved.
